Christopher has counseled clients in all segments of consumer and collection matters. With a working knowledge of New York State Debtor/Creditor Law, the Federal Bankruptcy Law, and Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, combined with broad litigation experience, Christopher provides cost-effective, personalized strategy for debt relief, from an initial consultation to putting together a plan that might include bankruptcy, debt settlement negotiations, credit card debt litigation, and unfair debt collection practices litigation, Christopher will personally work with you to get total debt relief.

Prior to founding Smith & Messina LLP, Christopher acted as in-house counsel to a 100 employee collection agency located in Buffalo, New York. Prior to that, Christopher worked at a large Buffalo law firm in the business litigation and insolvency department. Christopher also volunteered his time as a Board Member of the UB Alumni Associations GOLD Group.
